For those of you who don’t already know, this week is Teesside Restaurant Week. It’s the second one of 2020, and while we couldn’t be more pleased at the prospect of a 3-course meal for £15 at some of Teesside’s most loved restaurants, we’ve noticed over the past couple of weeks that not enough people know it exists!
We’re sure you all saw the buzz over the Eat Out To Help Out Scheme back in August, well this is just as good – if not better! Below you will find the full list of local restaurants taking part, and we’ve featured our top 5 for you too. Mainly because we wanted an excuse to look at the menus again, but also because we thought you should know exactly what’s on offer.
First up, The Impeccable Pig:
Known for its luxurious setting in Sedgefield, The Impeccable Pig serve bistro style food, with good honest ingredients. Simple. No fuss. Just great flavours. They’ve created a special menu for Teesside Restaurant Week 2020, which looks outstanding and is sure to get booked up fast. Take a look at their offering here: https://www.facebook.com/TheImpeccablePigRestaurantandRooms/
Next, Tomahawk Steakhouse:
This is one of the most talked about restaurants in our area, and we’re lucky enough that they have included THREE of their locations to take part in Teesside Restaurant Week 2020. You have the choice of visiting, Potto, Yarm, or their newly launched Venue, Acklam Hall. With each location offering a mouth-watering 3-course menu for £15, you don’t want to miss out on the chance of a taste of Tomahawk:
We also have G&Tea House:
You may have seen great things coming from The G&Tea house lately, after it was taken over by Michael Jones during lockdown. Michael is the name behind the outstanding Acklam Hall and is already doing a fantastic job with his latest venture. Based in Great Ayton, The G&Tea house offers a range of menu options for every occasion, including Teesside Restaurant Week 2020. You can see more here: https://www.facebook.com/GTeaHouse/
Next, The Copperstone:
The Copperstone is one of the most popular Thai Food restaurants in Teesside, offering a selection of Thai cuisine and pan Asian fusion meals to suit all tastes. Not only does their food taste amazing, but their authentic interiors provide the perfect setting too. They already have limited availability left for their Teesside Restaurant week 2020 menu, we recommend booking fast: https://www.facebook.com/thecopperstone/
Finally, we have The Scruffy Duck:
Based in Norton, The Scruffy Duck is a warm and traditional ale-house serving proper British pub food. Offering a cosy, snug, spacious dining area with a great atmosphere. Over the past few months especially, we have heard nothing but brilliant things about this restaurant and cannot wait to sample their Teesside Restaurant Week menu.
