We Make Sound is a free creative project for 14 to 18-year-olds in the Tees Valley, supported by Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

This is an exciting new creative project for young people from Tees Valley, led by top professional musicians.

Learn how to make your own sound recordings outdoors; create soundscapes in a studio; experiment with different instruments; think together about local stories and issues; and create sound exhibitions and performances.

You don’t need to have any musical experience (but it’s fine if you have), you just need to be interested and ready to experiment.

Project lead, Nell Catchpole says, “The project is designed to help you to develop your artistic work, by providing an environment for you to explore, create, collaborate, think and make!”

We Make Sound is in October half term, Monday 25thTuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th of October 2021.

Each session takes place at Rift House Primary School, Masefield Rd, Hartlepool, TS25 4JY between the hours of 10am and 4pm.
