Featured Track: Christmas Ghosts, ROJOR
This December, ROJOR has released a new version of his festive single, Christmas Ghosts.
Indie singer-songwriter ROJOR is an accomplished live artist having supported the likes of The Magic Numbers, Primal Scream, Wet Wet Wet’s Graeme Clarke, the fabulous Ren Harvieu and Martin Stephenson & the Daintees. ROJOR has also headlined the ‘FTWL Stage’ at BBC Music Live and is no stranger to the big festival audience, but he is also equally at home in more intimate live surroundings where the true essence of his beautiful songs is often best captured.
“The song is set on a snowy Christmas Eve,” ROJOR says, “where our protagonist reflects on loved ones lost. Our grief doesn’t lessen over time it simply shapeshifts from a crushing pain that takes your breath away to a dull ache that haunts you like a dark shadow. However, the song opens the door to hope, and the possibility that we meet again on the road ahead. So, remember to raise a glass to those we miss at Christmas time.”
