Healthwatch Stockton-on-Tees is an independent patient voice organisation responsible for ensuring that people in the local community can share their views and experiences about the way publicly funded health and social care services are delivered in Stockton-on-Tees, which can be, for example: residential care homes, dentists, doctors or hospitals.
Our aim is to strengthen the voice of the community in Stockton-on-Tees, ensuring they can help to influence the design and delivery of health and social care services to better meet their needs.
Healthwatch Stockton-on-Tees works with local people, patients, service users, carers, community groups, organisations, service providers and commissioners to get the best out of local health and social care services. This doesn’t just mean improving services today but influencing and shaping services to meet the needs of the local communities tomorrow.
If any Stockton-on-Tees residents would like to share their views of health and social care services they have used, then you can call or email Healthwatch to speak to a member of staff. The work Healthwatch have carried out and their published reports can be found on their website.
